Mesj@sz

Oratorio Messiah is the most popular composition by George Frideric Händel. It has brought worldwide fame to the composer and invariably arouses delight and admiration whenever performed. Our version of the oratorio is called MESSI@H as we try to read the original work in a contemporary way. Beautiful classical music is enriched with elements of film, folk, soul and gospel music. In order to merge different forms of art we combine sound and vision through modern multimedia projection, which is an integral part of the performance.

Mesj@sz

As in the original work, also in our MESSI@H we are led from the prophecy of Christ’s birth, through His Passion to the joy of the resurrection, which is perfectly captured by probably best known and brilliant “Hallelujah” which closes our version of the Messiah. Each part of our performance is vividly illustrated by choirs and emotional vocal and instrumental solos. Our Messi@h does not shock, but surprises with its modern form and the combination of classic and various modern styles of music. In principle, the performance is addressed to a broad audience.
Contemporary arrangement is composed by a young composer and arranger Sebastian Lewicki. Among the performers are: Monika Urlik, Anna Serafińska, Michael Rudaś and Christopher Matuszak. They are accompanied by a choir and orchestra Musical Art under the baton of Andrew Jr. Borzym.
We warmly invite you to enjoy with us the rediscovery of the the greatest work of George Frideric Händel.
